WFAA Collects Top Texas Emmy Honors for Station and News Excellence
Station also Recognized as the State's Top Newscast at Lone Star Emmy Awards Ceremony October 17 Dallas, Texas - WFAA has been recognized again for both station and news excellence by the Lone Star Chapter of the National Television Academy. The Dallas-Fort Worth station was also named the station's top 10 p.m. evening newscast. Since the Lone Star Emmy Chapter was founded in 2003, this year marks the fourth time WFAA has been recognized for Station Excellence and the third time for News Excellence. Television stations in markets including Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Austin and others compete for Emmy Awards each year.
